Notification settings

At Fernand, we strive to keep you in the loop about important conversations, so that you never miss a message. You can choose to receive email notifications whenever a conversation or note requires your attention. Don’t worry — you can personalize these notifications to suit your needs.

Setting a custom notification email

By default, the notification emails are sent to the email address you used for the account creation. However, you might want to receive notifications on a different email address, here's how to do it:

  1. Go to "Settings" on your dashboard, then select "Account Details".

  2. In the "Notification Email" field, insert your preferred email address for receiving notifications.

  3. Don't forget to click "Save" to apply the changes.

Notification details

Here are the notifications you can personalize to suit your preferences:

  • A new message is received
Get notified whenever you receive a new message in any of your conversations.

  • Activity in anything assigned to you
Be alerted of any developments in tasks or conversations assigned to you.

  • Activity in all unassigned conversations
Stay updated on any movement in discussions that are yet to be assigned to a team member.

  • A message you sent failed to be delivered
Be informed if any message you sent wasn't successfully delivered. This gives you a chance to retry or troubleshoot as needed.

  • You are @mentioned on a comment
You'll be notified anytime someone @mentions your name in a comment. This is particularly useful in ensuring direct communication doesn't get missed.

Customizing your notifications based on relevance can greatly enhance your productivity and ensure that you react quickly to any vital updates. Happy organizing!
