OVH
If your domain is managed by OVH, you can easily forward your support emails to Fernand and authenticate your domain to send replies that look clean and professional. Here’s how to do it step by step.
Step 1: Forward emails to Fernand
To receive emails in Fernand, you need to create an email redirect from your OVH address (like support@yourdomain.com) to your Fernand-generated address. You’ll find that address in Settings → Channel → Email.
Log in to the OVH Control Panel and go to Web Cloud → Emails.
Select the domain you want to use and click on the Email accounts tab.
Click Redirections, then Create a redirection.
In the
From
field, type your public-facing email address (like support@yourdomain.com).In the
To
field, paste your Fernand email address (the one ending in .fernand-mails.com).Confirm and create the redirection. All emails sent to your OVH address will now be routed to Fernand.
Step 2: Authenticate your domain
To send replies from your domain via Fernand, you’ll need to add DNS records to your OVH dashboard. You’ll find the unique records you need to add in Settings → Channel → Email.
Typically, you’ll need to add:
1 TXT record (DKIM)
2 CNAME records (one for verification, one for bounce management)

In the OVH Control Panel, go to Domains and select your domain.
Click the DNS Zone tab.
Click Add an entry for each record Fernand provides.
Select the correct type (TXT or CNAME), then enter the exact Host and Target/Value from Fernand.
Save and wait for DNS propagation. Fernand will automatically validate the setup once records are live.

Pro tip: You don’t need to keep checking back. Fernand will notify you once your domain is fully authenticated and ready to go. From then on, your support emails just flow ✨
